One of the best things about a fishing holiday is knowing that you have a good chance of catching a fish! Once I tallied up the per-fish cost of fishing when we lived in the beach suburb of Wamberal, NSW. If you add the cost of gear, cost of bait, cost of getting to a good fishing place (boat or beach), divided by the number of keepable fish caught, I think the price was about $150.00 per fish!
Well, you can be sure that the average cost per fish caught on the farm is a lot less! You do not need your own gear (in fact it's not allowed on the farm due to our very strict bio-security rules), we supply you with a rod, lures, net etc. AND we clean and gut the fish for you, pack them on ice. We will open for groups of a minimum of 12 people on other days, on appointment. Please call the farm to check availability.
General admission to the farm is free of charge
Minimum number for tour is 4 paying people (generally at 11:00am and 2:00pm, conditions and weather permitting)
Adults $10.00 Child (5 to 12 yrs) $5.00
Conditions - a good level of fitness is required as the distance is about 1km on fairly steep terrain. Tour is not suited to wheelchairs.
Rod Hire $12.00 ea (bag limit 4) plus
Caught Trout at $25.00 per kg.
We operate on a strict catch and keep basis only.
Average weight of fish is 300g, but fish up to 1kg may be in the fishout dam.
10% discount for TOUR and FISHING (2 + 2 minimum)
4 rods, and guided tour and any caught fish.
